halo 2 and 3 gun nerfs to the MCC

So , one day I decided to play halo 3 campaign on the Xbox 360. but as I was playing on legendary I noticed that the covenant carbine and Battle rifle was nerfed; also, playing original halo 2 the battle rifle was severely nerfed on campaign to the MCC. Is this just me or can any 343 employees/ people who play original halo 2 and 3 can confer?

I have both MCC and Halo 3. I don’t know if your saying the Halo 3 Battle Rifle is weaker on MCC or on Classic, but the Battle Rifle on MCC for me feels weaker, at least on Heroic.
