Halo 2:A Co-op Legendary Campaign glitch

Glitch in Halo 2 co-op campaign on Legendary
On Halo 2 co-op legendary campaign, when one person dies, the campaign goes back to the last checkpoint even when:

  • The other player is alive - When the Iron Skull is off - When there are 0 skulls activeThis glitch is making Halo 2’s campaign IMPOSSIBLE to beat on Legendary, either solo or co-op.
This glitch didn’t happen to the other games campaigns (Halo: CE, Halo 3, Halo 4), is this supposed to happen or is it actually a glitch?

So, this isn’t a glitch in case you’ve never played Halo 2 before. It’s how the co-op is designed on Legendary. Even if you grab a copy of 2004 Halo 2 and throw it in an original Xbox, you’ll get the same exact result.

It’s also not impossible - I did it as did many many others. It’s just definitely the most difficult.

Thank you, thetimewarptrio. I honestly didn’t know that about Halo 2’s Legendary Campaign. I was just so used to playing on solo that I never noticed that feature. Hopefully I can get passed Halo 2 on Legendary, I’m just glad that this is exclusive to only Halo 2. Maybe you might want to help me with Halo 2 on Legendary? Its your choice.

Yeah it’s pretty bizarre, because it happens and you ask yourself “wait, did I accidentally turn the iron skull on??” only to find out that that’s just the way it is.

If you need help with a few missions or something, give me a shoutout. I don’t get on the MCC much anymore, but if you find yourself struggling I could help a brother out.
