OK guys, here’s a big one, and it might even seem dumb, but bear with me.
Is there a way to somehow register Halo:1 on the PC through Waypoint?
I was sure it wasn’t possible, but I heard a friend the other day who was adamant about it indeed being possible (he said he’d done it). Now, just to clear any confusion, this is how the question arose.
It started with my complaining about how I can’t figure out how to get one of those cool “decals” (there’s probably a better name) that say “bungie” or “Halo 2” etc. over my xbox live gamertag in a Halo game. You know what I’m talking about, right next to your gamertag in matchmaking, some people will have those cool decals that say something like that? I was complaining that not only can I not figure THAT out (explanations on that as well would be GREATLY appreciated), but that even if I did, there’s probably no way to get one that says “Halo: CE” or something like that. I like the retro stuff.
So, he went on to say that there’s a way to enter your CD key on your copy of Halo PC (which I have no problem doing, I bought mine new), which is verified in the system (maybe by Microsoft?), and you then get access to a cool decal.
PLEASE tell me if this is indeed possible. And please, if you’re not absolutely sure, please don’t say something like “I don’t think so”. I really appreciate it. Thanks!
