since 343 is putting classic weapons in the game I think the h1 shotgun or plasma rifle should appear in the game as they hold some nostalgic qualities but if there are any other weapons you’d like implemented what would it be?

I would love those ideas but I would prefer them to work on the texture/graphics for the halo 1 pistol. I know I sound like those people who complain but to me the gun seems to low quality rendering to be in the game. Im 50-50 about its simplicity but maybe a bit more details would make it look better.
Its pretty much the same CE through 3, so I think they should add it in when they add infection.

It was awesome you had like 12 shots in one ammo thing…and you reload really fast…it was like the only weapon I used if I had it.
Halo CE shotgun needs to be added. The texture will bother me like no other, but I might just have to deal with it.

Sorry, and no disrespect at all, but that’s totally wrong. The shotgun was very similar between h2 and h3, but in CE, the shotgun had crazy long range. 2 well placed shots at 50 meters could still get you a kill.
And in close quarters, that thing was godly

Yes. Best shotgun out of any halo by far, if you don’t count Oathsworn. And it could probably hold its own against Oathsworn.
CE shotgun would be fun
I miss the old shotgun. Holds so much more ammo. Bring back the plasma rifle too! How about every old weapons! LOL
So many memories of blasting through flood in the cartographer mission. That shotgun would be godly in an infection game mode

Many controllers were broken in rage during LAN parties cause of that weapon! Good times… good times.
