I believe 343 should put a halo 1 playlist similar to how there is the halo 3 playlist. With the appropriate maps and mechanics. Especially since we rarely get to play on them even though they are in circulation. I think the only times I’ve played on them is in SWAT or Fiesta modes.
There was an Anniversary playlist which had remakes of CE maps, CE Magnum starts, and Spartan Abilities disabled. Sounds like you missed out on it.
The Anniversary playlist had Spartan abilities in it because I remember complaining about them, heh.

Dude people want matchmaking in H5 not custom games or MCC. This is the halo 5 forum thread correct? Custom games are not a replacement for old mechanics that classic players want.

Yeah but if it’s in an actual playlist, you get a higher number of people to play with. Also I think McC is still dead

Well if you are a “classic player” those are your only options. Go to the H6 wish list thread and ask for classic game play for that game. H5 isn’t going to change this late in it’s life. Also if you host games in customs and they get popular enough they just may make it in matchmaking. like castle wars did.

No, it was just the smaller maps that you would see in 4v4 playlists nowadays.
I believe they had that back for Halo 1 Anniversary. I don’t know if they’ll bring it back.
The weird thing about Halo 1 playlist was kind of fun…while the H3 throwback playlist is pretty bad.

I don’t remember this, did the playlist change often?, I’m sure it’s gone up previously without them at some point.
