Halo 1 PC: My Servers

Hello all,

I’ve been sick of the Halo: PC servers. Almost all are “Infinite Nades! Start with sniper and rockets!” So I’ve decided to roll my own. 2 for now, but if people want other gametypes, I can add more servers. These will be running 24/7. Come join and let’s bring back classic Halo.

http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/162.248.95.191:2301/ is a Classic CTF server that cycles through Blood Gulch, Timberland, and Sidewinder. 3 warthogs.
http://www.gametracker.com/server_info/162.248.95.191:2302/ is a Classic Team Slayer server that cycles through Hang Em High, Chill Out, Battle Creak, Blood Gulch, Prisoner, and Damnation.

No radar.

If people want some changes/different maps, I will definitely consider it. And there’s definitely room for more servers if people want other gametypes.

Custom Edition or combat evolved? I don’t have combat evolved and I got custom edition for free from the SPV3 mod

It’s a Combat Evolved server, but the cd key that you have for Custom Edition should work fine for combat evolved, too.

It was a random CD key I found from a Google search, but I’ll still give it a try

No problem! Last night we had 9 people (including me) in the Slayer server. I’ve recruited a couple of friends to join me to help get this ball rolling.

Just a heads up, OP, I just hopped into your Slayer server and Radar is still active.

Good catch- that was the Team Slayer server. Fixed.

All three servers will now load maps based on minimum/maximum player counts in order to avoid too crowded or sparse maps.

The only downtime should be short for a server restart. I added a status page at www.classichalo.com and www.classichalo.net.

From time to time, yup! You can always go to the link above to check the status. Typically if 1-2 people are in one of the servers, people join up to check it out.
