Hi,
I was on the 8th Mission of Halo 1 on Legendary. Upon starting my game up again it appears to have started me from the start of the mission for no reason even though I had made a fair amount of progress and had saved this progress. This was about a month ago.
Any way this save can be restored?
I believe the games don’t store progress at all, one of the bugs.

Unfortunately, it seems as though you will have to start the mission over. The save point for some reason was overwritten.
I’m sure 343 have a back up somewhere.
