  • Johnson out.

In the months leading up to a big release, I don’t play any games whatsoever. It’s the equivalent of starving yourself for a few days, then cooking up a steak. Tastes so, so much better.

This made me laugh so hard!! Thanks man:D

I play Halo CE and Halo 2 almost everyday. :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, Sir!
Me and my friends have been planning this.

What about playing Reach before CE and then playing ODST in the middle of Halo 2 right after the slipspace jump destroys New Mombasa?

Johnson! He lives!

Damn straight soldier! Extra Credit for you!

Not a bad Idea I’ve tried to systematically play through halo games before the release of a new game but it never panned out.

Halo 2 on legendary is so damn hard -…- it feels like a chore to complete, I wonder if anyones beat it without the noob combo?

PS. I like the October 29th Halo Anniversary date, since that is oddly enough my Birthday.

Thank you sir! I need a weapon.

Halo 2 will be a -Yoink-! But I know you all can pull through!

Halo 2 without the noob combo is the equivalent of jumping on broken glass instead of walking, you’re just torturing yourself. I’ve personally done it a few times on Legendary, it’s not impossible in any way, just takes a lot of time. The last time I completed it, I got stuck for months because I lost my interest after getting a really, really bad checkpoint. But, I eventually continued it and got through. Halo 2 is actually the only game in the series that I still consider a challenge on Legendary.

I will do this playthrough of all Halo games excluding Wars (I’m not that good with RTS). I most likely start it in the late summer and hopefully, make it through before the release of Halo 4. On the other hand, I might even get excited, start it soon and do it twice. Playing through the campaigns is always fun.

If you really want, you can play through twice, Once on Heroic to grasp the story and then on Legendary for the challenge! But don’t pull any of that easy-normal difficulty you weak -Yoink-!

I’m doing this.

I’ll be re-reading most of the novels for the second time, and the third forerunner novel will not be out, but still–how cool is that going to be! So far I’m only on the second Forerunner novel but already halfway through. I’m trying not to go through it all too fast so there’s not much of a gap before H4 comes out.

Im going to to do this at the end of October. Im will live stream that on twitch tv

I’ll play Halo Wars, Reach, CE, 2, 3 then ODST in that order.

I’m at the same point in the novel. “Thursday War” comes out October 2nd, 2012.

More like:
Halo Wars
Halo: Reach
Halo: Combat Evolved
Halo 2 but you stop after completing Metropolis
Halo 3: ODST
Back to Halo 2
Halo 3

Halo 4 is about the MC, not odsts or lolspartan3s

My Halo 3 campaign don’t work, SORRY SERGEANT!
