So it is a cool thing for Halo 1-4 to be backward compat, but a couple of the disadvantages or I guess negatives that I see are the following: You still have to install all those games onto your xbone to take up more memory. Also, is there a way to get all that hard earned achievements, maps, ranking from the 360 days back onto the xbox one for the games? If there is a way to do this, how?
If your 360 data is stored in the cloud it should carry over. I changed my GT a while back and all my game data didn’t sync over. I call xbox support and they fixed it. For some reason H2 isn’t included in the backwards compatibility.

Halo 2 is and original Xbox game hence why it isn’t included, current BC games are 360 only. Some OG Xbox games will be made backwards compatible in a few months time, but there’s no details on exactly which games yet. I could potentially see some work being done to get OG games working with the new iteration of Xbox live, but I’m not sure how much work they’re putting into the few games that are coming over.

I had CE and H2 on the original xbox.but unfortunately I gave them away when the 360 came out. I figured since they updated it for the xbox one (MCC) they would probably launch it also with the others that just released.
Wasn’t halo 1 supposed to get a bc sometime later? I definitely think it should considering that MCC dosnt have ANY of its classic sounds.
Halo 2 I can deal with (kinda) since it has all its classic elements as they we’re in mcc. Still would be nice to have a dedicated game to halo 2’s online though.

About that disc space, let’s put that into perspective:

Halo Reach: 11.6

CEA is on the backwards compatibility list now. Original CE may come in November, but nobody knows which games are being added to that list

Yeah I was thinking that when I downloaded H3 & 4 today. I don’t care about the used space, but Halo is pretty much all I still play anyway.
