why they do very good consistent damage and beats banshees

Great news, but the duration is still an issue, dropping the mine on power nodes prevents the opponent from recapturing for about 2minutes, which is ridiculous…

What are you talking about, sentinels suck against literally everything except buildings. They deserve a buff. A whole army could be taken down by a few wolverines and maybe 3 or 4 reavers(which is supposed to happen so I’m ok with that) but they also lose to everything else. Marines or grunts dominate them. Banshee’s wreck them with plasma torpedo. They do better against hornet’s but still get absolutely rinsed. Overall they need some sort of health or damage boost. And even with the sentinel synergy leader power adding a shield they still are pretty weak. Though this post wasn’t about this so I’ll stop talking.

For now though, you can at least get your first base up

its not like u have to use them there just a alternative to hornets if you dont want to build a air pad but still want some air units

IMO all mines should never despawn over time, otherwise you have to drop them as you’re being attacked and that’s not what mines are for. If too many mines are active at once, just blow up the old ones. Same issue for living barrier.

I don’t think he was referring to the actual mine itself. The infusion gel that’s left behind after the mine detonates lasts for a ridiculous amount of time. The mine will also leave the gel behind even if you shoot it so you really can’t do anything about it. At least with Serena you can capture the power node with a full health infantry unit.

A planet where sentinels are literally useless, you can’t be serious in thinking that they are ok right? You wouldn’t mind a little buff too attack damage or health. I hate to call you out and sorry if I sounded rude, that’s not my intention. But sentinels are basically flying locust. It’s cool to have a few of them, but an army just doesn’t work. I think whats different from locust to sentinel however is that 343 meant to make them viable in huge armies. It doesn’t take much to erradicate an army of protector sentinels. I could literally just make 3 or 4 wolverines, mix them into my army so they are harder to pinpoint and attack among the mess of troops and poof. Just like that your sentinel army is no more. I will admit though Andres’ sentinel beacon power is SO much fun to use because you can melt bases by going full pop kodaks, set them up in front of the enemy base, and have teammates push up to distract their army and get line of site on their base.
