Depending on what you mean by “nitpicking,” this is a bad mentality to take. If you’re talking about when people say “Promethean Vision might be overpowered, and here’s why,” that’s different from the rabble. It’s not as educated as a playtester or a designer that made the system is, but it’s really easy when you make something to miss important factors that other people, even uneducated people, can spot quickly.
But I will grant that the consistency of insulting defensive argumentation doesn’t help. We should stop antagonizing each other and focus on the topics at hand.
