All I know is that I’ve logged bugs at work about typos that have sat in the queue for years. They’re easy fixes that are just considered low priority, and as more bugs and feature work comes in They get pushed lower and lower.
You’re absolutely right about the wording of the post. I’m sure they’re just trying to be light/cute but it doesn’t always come across that way.

Unfortunately, I think most of the “community representation” has to walk on egg shells right now. Hopefully things will loosen up within the next year so they can express what’s going on with the team more freely.

Surely the community isn’t as sensitive as to just ban someone that speaks badly about then? That would be about the definition of pathetic of 343 could take the time to ban those that jab them instead of actually addressing the issues.

Depends how you define attack. Some companies actually sack people who are incompetent. Seems like 343 isn’t one of them.

Well, it certainly doesn’t help when they’re condescending towards people concerns, like in the last update. I get it, people get passive aggressive sometimes. It’s a human thing. But if you’re working in public relations it’s a good idea to not do that.

Honestly no. After this and the UI issues with adding new playlists it’s not “why do you just care about money”, it is far more like “who wrote your UI code, why is it so restrictive, why is there noone on the team who can rapidly fix this, and why was this allowed to happen”. The more I hear about this game’s technical issues the more it sounds the project management and quality of the systems that make this game work are very poor.

Because it’s designed to optimize profit. You make a barebones system that costs the least amount of money to make and then you don’t build it with adaptability so that when it ships you have therefore minimized spending costs. Once it’s in the wild then you start fixing it because you have a constant stream of money.

They haven’t. At all. In any community update. There’s an old tweet saying “they’re looking into it” and that’s all we have. I’ve been -Yoink!- about it for months now to deaf ears.
Their communication and prioritization is shameful. The desync has made this game virtually unplayable for me.

I’ve never seen a bigger studio struggle this hard with even the bare minimum fixes addressed over such a long period of time. Even cyberpunk (minus next gen ‘upgrade’, whatever that is) (play it on PC if you do play CP) and blizzard address things faster than this.
