This is hilarious, all these kids pre-launch were like nooo stop bashing 343 guys you havent played the game you cant say thing about it, its gunna be the best halo ever i mean jeez they said it still feels like halo so lets just trust them. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA oh my god. Hate to say i told you so, halo is gone down the gutter. I hope you all realize that this is the way its gunna be for the rest of the trilogy. hahahaha have fun playing your washed up game. im out.

I’m still playing it, and I’m able to enjoy it. Your gloating is completely unnecessary, and if you take note many of those complaining are the ones who were complaining pre-launch as well.

The game has a few issues, and I’ll be the first to admit it. But you have to give 343 more than two months to dish out a full blown TU and fix the flaws of their game. Halo 3 had a big TU, Halo 2 had an even bigger TU. Reach had a TU.

The only Halo game not to have a TU is Halo: CE because it was released before Xbox Live came to be.

All of this pessimism and negativity is getting old at this point. You should at least wait for an actual Title Update before going ballistic and claiming the game is “washed up.”

Wow. Get over yourself.

Agreed

Ok. Get out. No one will miss you.

stop lying, we all know you’re disappointing like the rest of us.

While I don’t agree with OP’s tone, I have to say that in my opinion, this game is far beyond just a few issues. It’s actually a lot less about what is broken. To me, it’s more about what they’ve decided is core to the gameplay experience now… Such as ordnance, loadouts, etc.

That’s the reason I’m heavily disappointed anyways. I don’t really expect the TU to change anything that, in my opinion, would help the game competitively at all.

I know all the “negativity” seems like whining, but the reason I personally choose to be vocal about disappointment is for the sake of feedback. I do think people should keep it as constructive as possible though. And if 343 decides to stick with their guns on a lot of the changes, that’s fine and that’s their decision. But if that’s the case, I’ll be with the OP. Out.

The competitive community are almost always correct as they often understand the game’s mechanics and map design. I am not surprised at all.

Halo 4 is best Halo.

MLG is oftentimes a little too sterile, but at least they know how to create a good competitive core that you WANT to get better at. Improving your gameplay and seeing natural skill gains feels very good, whereas vanilla gameplay often feels unnatural, camping with shotgun and armorlock, or boltshot and promethean vision, or whatever the current flavor of bad matchmaking is to win.

An MLG playlist with like 7 solid maps, and a variety of functioning (to MLG’s specifications) gametypes like Slayer, Flag, Extraction, KOTH, and Ball… I could play that every day for a long time.

HOW DARE you call Halo 4 the best halo. Halo 2 and 3 were definitely the best.

I too enjoy seeing the same people who called me stupid and rash for saying all of the new features (and things from reach) would make this game terrible now posting harsh criticism and hatred for this turd of a game we are stuck with. I wish I was wrong but at least we have a half -Yoinked!- ranking system and disapointing TU to look forward to

so now people cant have opinions guess that makes sense now that they are taking our guns away

I also agree. Halo 2 was a completely unpolished piece of yoink when it came out, hell it still was a mess after its TU but apparently it’s the unquestionable king of the franchise.

A simple tu in my opinion cant save this game. It is no longer the halo it once was. To simply fix this game basically means get rid of every idea 343 has stolen from classed based shooters. It means to balance out everything. It means a ranking system that actually matters and doesnt give you in game benefits.

Quite simply to fix this game, basically means to make it a bloody arena shooter. That is what it should have been from launch, that is what halo needs go back to being an arena shooter.

Easy.

Because I enjoy it more than the other Halos.

Yeah, Halo 4’s a bit disappointing.

I still play it for commendations … yay

I know that’s your opinion, but you really think Halo 4 is more enjoyable than CE?

wow … the times are certainly changing.

Yup they are, no longer does the fps genre have any variety. It is all about classed based shooters, I will miss arena shooters and fair starts that is for sure.

> I know that’s your opinion, but you really think Halo 4 is more enjoyable than CE?

Infinitly more enjoyable.

Dont get me wrong, I have both CE for Xbox and CE Anniversary, and I play through the campaign occasionally.

But yeah, more enjoyable than the original.
