Put the Halo 5 controller functions back the way they are supposed to be. I could only play 2 games before quitting tonight. I am a high level player (Gold, sometimes Platinum league), and I cannot afford to have low scoring games messing up my rank, not that anyone cares.

its a bug, change your controller layout then change it back. Also gold and platinum are not even close to high level.

Sorry but gold/plats are average, high level is Onyx/Champion
I do pretty good in my games most of the time, hard to imagine someone being so much better than me to be 2 leagues higher.
Eh, I don’t know about being an “average player” in Gold / Platinum leagues. I am quite the pistolero. On certain maps, with the Magnum pistol, I will WTFPWN most people, sometimes winning by 5 or 6 kills between me and 2nd place.

gold is average, plat is slightly above average, diamond is good, onyx is very skilled

Trust me the skill gap between gold and diamond is like US to UK, and Diamond is the players that are good. The skill gap between gold and High Onyx is like the gap between Heaven and Earth.

Absolutely. I’m an average player (Gold-Platinum in most playlists, usually Diamond-Onyx in SWAT and FFA) I usually do pretty well, typically one of the better players score wise, but doing this against other average players (gold-platinum) isn’t the same as being able to do that against Onyxes. So you may be a toward the higher end of average players, but yes, Gold and Platinum is still average.
