HAH: Halo Achievement Hunters

What is Halo Achievement Hunters?
Would you consider yourself an Achievement Hunter? Do you plan on getting EVERY SINGLE Halo achievement out there? If you answered “YES” to both of these questions than congratulations, we have something in common! I have always been interested in having every single Xbox achievement for the Halo series which I was able to achieve. That was before Halo 4 and Spartan Assault came out and now I want to get that title back. But I know I’m not the only one out there so I want to create a place that can assist everyone earn this title.
With that said, I am creating an ongoing event called, Halo Achievement Hunters where fellow achievement hunters can gather and find a few other like minded individuals to help them on their quest for all Halo Achievements. Due to the fact that there are so many Halo achievements out there, every now and then, I will set a primary game for Achievement hunting below. By no means necessary does this mean you can’t post asking for help on an achievement outside of the primary Halo game, just know it won’t be the current focus of the thread. Primaries will most likely start with Halo 4 and work its way down to Halo CEA.
How do I start?
Simple, just follow the following steps:
- Either post below the achievement you are looking for in the primary Halo game, or any other Halo game OR…
- See if anyone else has posted who is looking for the same achievement as you.
- Quote the user looking for an achievement and comment saying you will help if you are interested
- If you made the post, wait for someone to say they too are looking for that achievement. Be sure to check this thread frequently to see if you have any takers!
What exactly should I post?
You should be posting the name of the achievement, the game it is in, and the description of the achievement. Also feel free to leave a comment saying what you need help with, what you are looking for exactly, or anything that you deem relevant. See below for an example.

> Description: Complete all chapters in Spartan Ops Episode 1 on Legendary difficulty.
> Date and Time/Time Zone: January 1st 2012 at 9:00pm EST

Current Primary Achievement: Sightseeing - In Castle DLC, finish a game in any game mode on every Castle map
Active Achievement Hunters
> Game: Halo: Reach
> Achievement: You blew it up
> Description: Destroy the research facility on Breakpoint invasion
> Game: Halo: CE Anniversary
> Achievement: That Just Happened, Speed Reader, and Never Tell Me the Odds
> Description: “That just happened” Complete the level “The Library” on Heroic difficulty or higher without dying. “Speed Reader” Complete the level “The Library” on Legendary difficulty in 30 minutes or less. And last “Never Tell Me the Odds Escape” is “The Maw” on Legendary with at least a minute left on the count down.
> Comments: I need a good speed run for co-op/ a good drive. The other thing is I need someone help me no to died in “The Library” as well a good driver in “The Maw” for the achievements.
Could you maybe add a ‘time’ selection in the format…because not everyone can really be available at the same time.

Hmmm… yeah, add a time frame or date of when a possible get-together may be.
One achievement I’d like help with though is
Achievement: ‘From Downtown’
Game: Halo 4
Description: Score a throwing goal in Ricochet Matchmaking by lobbing the ball 30 meters or more. (Something like that.)
Comments: Have never been too lucky with this one; and since Ricochet is now only in Action Sack, it’s a tad harder. 
That’s the only Matchmaking H4 one I’m working on at the moment, but if any one else has one they need, I’d be more than obliged to help! 
Oh, and Reach… that’s a different story. Once the primary game changes, though.

I’d love to help. I can usually get on in the evenings, except on weekends, when my schedule is even more random.
Could we maybe organize a full party for hunting DLC achievements? Not boosting, just making sure everyone gets a chance.

It’s best to try it on Haven at your own base, throwing it as far as you can.

Add me. I’m looking for people to get my last DLC achievement on REACH. You Blew it Up. Destroy the research facility on Breakpoint invasion. I’ve added more people from the forums to do the achievements. Also I would still like todo the Halo 4 DLC achievements but the one’s I need are glitched. I tried them multiple times with my friends but they don’t get them.

Description: Keep all marines alive on Infinity(jungle) on Heroic difficulty.
Date and Time/Time Zone: Wednesday/Friday the 28th or 30th at 4:30PM PST.
Comments: Oh marines, oh marines, how incompetent can they be sometimes…

Two words:
HUMAN SHIELD!!!
Yep… the Marines aren’t the brightest pickles in the jar. The best way (need at least two people) to try this is run ahead into battle ahead, strike from behind, and know your enemy’s spawn/timing. The last one will help; it’s best to pick off Knights right away before a Marine can try and take it out with a Magnum, or the Knight eats them alive.
Watch out for Watchers (tehe). You probably know this, but though they may seem lethargic at first, they’re annoying as heck. (Resurrection; shields)
One last tip I can try to provide is this:
Though you can start off from a Rally Point and begin the achievement challenge right away, if you start from the beginning, you can get your hands on a couple useful power weapons, like a Binary Rifle and a shotgun. But, I’m gonna try and be on that time Friday to assist.
