I have one that is kill 20 in Tactical Swat - stuck at 9
Fun part. I JUST HAD that challenge, and it was on 9/20 when I went into the previous game and got 14 kills - finishing the challenge and getting the xp.
Then i noticed post-game a “get assists” - and it went up by 1.
I check my challenges and there is no “get assists” listed.
My guess is it is glitched and showing the wrong challenge info, that it never updated. So it may Say “get 20 kills in tactical” - but what it is really tracking is “get assists”

Sounds like you need to cough up some money for some challenge skips, while 343 has plans to fix the challenges sometime after the new year

yeah, no. Only a fool puts money into this broken system.
I just confirmed my theory.
Fiesta gameplay, focused on assists instead of killing/having fun.
End game shows 7/10 assists.
Go to Challenges - “Head of the pack” is still shown at 9/20.
(Kill enemy spartans in tactical slayer PvP matches)
Other challenges are “big fish” (big team battle, which is broken and I can’t join), and “Lethal Lernaean” (kill enemy spartans with the hydra in pvp)
So it is tracking “get assists” while none of my shown challenges are for that, instead showing a previously finished “head of the pack” challenge.
If i had to guess, this was caused by the terrible tracking.
I finished my kills - and the next challenge in it’s slot would be “get assists” as I got assists that game too, it tried to award both, and something got caught up.
I played against a bunch of tryhards and managed 11 kills for my 10 kills challenge, I didnt get a match complete challenge or the FFA one. I love it.
Completing “lethal lernaean” and the assist one - made things even worse!
Lol now I have 2 “already done challenges” (lethal lernaean and head of the pack") and have NO IDEA what other challenges to do, because the “big fish” is stuck until I can do big team battle, and those 2 say they are 0/1 and 9/20 (when both, again, are completed already)
So finished "head of the pack’ then “assists” after it… .I wonder what is next? lol.

Well I am stuck. Can’t join BTB to do the one known challenge, and I did a variety of other things to attempt to trigger the end of game challenge tracker to know what to do next, and nothing popped up. so it’s not assists, hammer, sword, sniper headshots, heatwave kills, and a variety of other things I know have been challenges in the past.
Guess I am just done playing for a while? Maybe a game restart will help first…
Restarting the game appears to have cleared the issue of seeing challenges properly.

Just had this as well. Got 2nd place with 17 kills and the scoreboard apparently says I wasn’t even in the game? Despite the fact it reports that I had a score in the top right. Well, apparently I’m a new user and can’t upload a photo of it. But my name wasn’t even on the post-match scoreboard. No progress on my challenge Soldier of One either of course.
Get 50 kills in FFA was glitched for me too. Got like 13 challenge swaps for free still so I can’t see how someone gets down to 0 and spends
Just won a FFA match and got no xp! Wth 343! I dont even like FFA I just play it for the stupid challenge!
Tbf I thought FFA was pretty fun in this game. Just not what’s it’s about rn
