Me and a buddy of mine decided to play big team battle, we noticed the other team had 5 inheritors and 3 other players who weren’t grouped with them. When the game started, a banshee fell from the sky on our side on the map hemorrhage. So I decided to grab it and when I was half way across the map, their whole team had banshees and they were changing the hue of the map, they were adding forge mode items, placing lasers on the map and spawning banshees on their side. Needless to say, it didn’t go so well for our team and they made the screen so bright on the map to where our team couldn’t see anything. They added their weapon damage to one shot with the DMR, and when they hit us once, it counted as a sniper shot. They increased their run and jump speed and it was annoying. I have the vid saved and it’s in my fileshare, can 343i ban them please. Thanks
Edit: it was impossible to hide from them too, anywhere close to the caves on hemorrhage, if you camped there, it would make you suicide and respawn. They also spawned things on the map to use as platforms so they can snipe us and get leverage. Out of my 5 years of playing reach, I must say, this is rediculous. I’ve heard of speed hackers on grifball, but when I saw this, I was annoyed to say the least.

I hope you reported them. Came up against a modder the other day in BTB. Speed running. low gravity and one shot head shots. He was on our team and dominated. we just watch him go around the map and destroy everyone. At the end of the game we told the players with mics that we would report and that they should report him too as they rightly complained about his cheating. Went searching for another game and in the very next match we found him again and he had partied up with the very same players that were just complaining about his cheating. (Go figure about the mentality of some folks.)
But don’t worry about modders like this too much. They last about 3-4 days in the game before XBL detects the modded content on their xbox and perma bans the console and the account.
Ill watch your clip tonight and see if it the same guy. as it is against the rules I cant call it out here.

But you should report the whole lot because if they were in a party of 8 and all inheritors they knew what was going on and should have stopped playing with him.
I too encountered the SlimShady guy earlier today during Big Team Battle on Hemorrhage. Me and my friend noticed that this guy got a Rampage in less than a minute. Next thing I know this guy is flying around the map with a speed boost and massacres our team in a matter of seconds. By the time the match ended, my friend rage quit and SlimShady finished the game with almost 60 kills.

I haven’t watched the vid yet but I will later tomororow as I have had a lot of things going on this week. I really hope this guys get banned for modding and yep I will report them. My team messages me afterwords saying “what happened” and “why did everyone have banshees” lol
Luckily, I was able to take a banshee and get some of them to take pressure off of our team, but they started spawning a shade turret at the end lol

Before the game I checked and (if I remember correctly) oddly enough, none of them were paired in a group together out of all the inheritors. It seemed as if their team wasn’t a true pre made group once we started to fight, only a few of the enemy team carried but it was awful for us to go through that. My eyes were hurting because they changed the hue on the map to really bright, and super dark when we went into caves lol

I know what you mean but when I usually run into hackers I leave the lobby and report them and people who hack have no skill that’s why they hack
Never got the draw to playing a multiplayer game with mods like this. It defeats the purpose of the game. I will not/cannot watch the video you uploaded, but from the description that sounds like a lousy time. Hope you don’t encounter any more hackers anytime soon! Happy Haloing.
Lol the same happened to me but it went quite well actually. For a moment when the match started I thought I was playing Skyrim and got hit by a Giant because when I jumped I got launched insanely high in the air and I died. Guess that should have told me already that I was playing with hackers but I thought it was some sort of bounce glitch like in Halo 2. Then I saw other people get launched as well and I knew something was off. No worries I picked the Jet pack. Then the same happened as what happened to OP, Banshees being spawned, no weapons though. But the fun part was that they also spawned some Falcons. But not regular Falcons but the ones with the gun which you get to play with in New Alexandria, and I got a hold of one and destroyed the others. Needless to say those guys took a hell of a beating. Sadly after a couple of minutes my Xbox 360 froze.
To be honest if the hacks are like this, just spawning vehicles and adjusting the movement speed for all players, not like giving only the hackers themselves Overshields, Damage Boots, and stuff then I couldn’t care less. Of course it’s against the rules, and if measures aren’t taken against hacks matchmaking will be one Jtag infested rats nest, but to me it actually was good fun until the 360 froze and it wasn’t like their team was the only team with the advantage. Lots of teammates were also flying in banshees. Now I actually want the Falcon with the gun in regular matchmaking. It was pretty sweat. 
PS: Pretty weird, I saved the clip and when I go to the moment I froze in theater mode my Xbox 360 freezes. I wonder what happened there.
Slim Shady/ Slim Shady Lmao is the person you ought to report. He is uploading videos of him modding/ hacking in online games on his YouTube channel Slim Shady Modz. He also has a ‘business’ where him and his gang do things like this on ranges of games. They get paid to provide these mods online or temporarily provide them to streamers to promote themselves. I’m very annoyed with the amount of times that people have threatened me with the phrase “I’ll get/ pay Slim Shady to hack you offline!” I don’t tend to play Matchmaking due to my encounter. But I’ve met increasingly more modders in Custom games. But I am an U.N.S.C Role Player and this defeats the purpose of the game entirely. I bet no one has a problem if they’re in a private lobby but getting paid or just plainly ruining others fun is not on.
Reporting them does get that account permanently banned however, getting another Xbox/ Jtag or whatever it is these days will allow them to carry on.
Sometimes, I wish there was such an ability to grant members of the public who frequently/ or don’t mind playing Matchmaking and banning/ getting their reports foward straight to someone or something, so that they can just get the ban over and done with.
I want to clear one thing, I’m not a modder like these people but I have watched private modders or have just generally been stuck in conversations that provides me this. So I’m afraid unless my fantasy comes true, there’s no properly stopping these modders.
