Hackers Modifying Ranks

I’ve seen this happen multiple times on various streams / VODs.
Essentially a player can match and play a game at their normal rank (in this example they were a Rank 30).
The hacker changes their rank down to a 2 after the game and they are stuck there. That rank will never fluctuate, but their underlying rank (30) goes up/down based on wins.

They can search and find games on their 2, and will match against people ranked that low.

Has 343 made any public statements about this? Has anyone else seen this happen?

I’ve already summitted tickets but this is another example of hackers run rampant in MCC with seemingly no answer.

Unfortunately 343I don’t read these forum’s so very little will be done about it.

Unfortunate.
But yeah this is 100% possible, I would put in a support request as well because this is definitely something that people can do; as well as self modded rankings.

Something like whats described here is completely gamebreaking. Other players can modify things, but being able to modify someone elses stats/profile is insane.

As mentioned already have. Trying to get more eyes on the issue.

Apparently they can also change gametypes. Was watching people queue ranked Team Slayer yesterday and the gametype changed to Hardcore.

Fortunately this post is a lie.

Are they going on a smurf? Or is it the same account?

They are modifying your rank; so if you are a 30 they are forcing you to now be a 2. Its the same account just modified rank.

Getting out of hand.

My best cheater is saved on my console, Halo 4, 2 against 4. 57 kills, 0 deaths. Almost no GS, but was highly ranked. (No pic, got off work, space sodas, etc)

Cheaters are also able to edit the playlist names on their service records. Im curious why/how these types of changes are able to persist on accounts.
