I get that there is always gonna be people who cheat in online video games and yes its a PC game now and its gonna happen more.
Yes there were hackers way back in Halo 3 during the 360 era but come on 343. Easy Anti Cheat doesn’t work, you need to sort it out, we need a proper report function that works.
Without a proper in-game reporting feature hackers will run rampant because there’s no way for the system to get real time reports from players.
Also, this game doesn’t have anti cheat. If it did, 343 would have said something about it.
Just embarrassing really.
No thought went into making a lot of the game
After H4, after MCC, after H5, after the e3 presentation, after the flights 3 months before launch… did anybody REALLY expect something different from 343? With THAT management?
All we can hope for is that MS finally pulls the plug and hands the franchise to some ptoper devs. 343 has proven over, and over, and over that they simply don’t have what it takes. They fail at the EASIEST tasks… and then blame their paying customers, corona, different architecture or whatever for there plain bad development.
We all should know that by now…
