The last couple of days Halo:Reach is been hacked. I’ve been running into game lobby’s that have AIM bots and those Call of Duty hacks. halo should be better than this and not fall to Call of Duty’s level of -Yoink-. Look at Battlefield and Gears of War 3, hackers no. 343i Keep hackers at bay. Don’t be like Call of duty and let your games get hacked.
Hacked? I know of no such matches where there’s been aimbots and mods. I haven’t played in one.

In the meantime: it’d be a little bit more helpful if you posted some games a proof, Funk. I’m willing to believe you since I only proved yesterday that this sort of thing still happens - but in order for us to take you seriously, we need to see some evidence of foul play.

Modding Reach with ‘aimbots’ hasn’t been possible since late 2010 with the Fall 2010 Dashboard update.

Got 4 minutes in and I can tell you now, this guy was not hacking, he has a bloody good aim, as I said earlier, hacking on Reach in this standard hasn’t been possible for a long time, no aimbot is being used during this game.

i can tell you this much, it’s to hard to tell if he’s using auto-aim.but since he’s using the sniper and you can’t tell when he zooms in or not, im going with no hacks. i’ve met some pretty insane people who can no scope across the map easily, and some who can zoom in just perfectly on the targets head, but they weren’t using hacks. mabye this person is insane with the sniper

Then how do you explain the really fast movement speeds?
high sensitivity. and if you pay close enough attention, you can see the guy studders before he kills someone. if you have auto-aim, you just point the gun in the general direction and they are dead. there would be no use to studder

No, I mean as in running speed. He is moving very fast without going into the sprint animation. Also, he skids to a stop many times which wouldn’t happen if he were sprinting.
hm, to me it looks like the game is fast fowarding, but the time isn’t.and from other people, they seemed to be running at the same speed. mabye he has bad internet connection? that’s what it looks like with the skidding and such.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, but Im still confused on how you could have that bad of an internet connection, but still be able to snipe with that level of precision. It doesnt make sense to me.
oh and to clarify, i am, in no means, defending this guy that he is not hacking. im just suggesting possible solutions on what might be happening.
