Application/Web Site title:
HaloPal
Description:
Match Playback:
HaloPal has an interactive real-time match playback function. Watch a previously played match from start to finish, with the app displaying the killer, the victim, the path between the two Spartans and it will also flash up the type of kill that was performed on the map. You can fully interact with the playback, touching previous kills to bring them back up, zooming etc.
Match browser:
With the match browser there are three tiers to the browser :- Match Details, Match Players, Match events. Using the graph that displays the length of the match, and how many kills were made in each minute of the match you can run your finger along to not only display the amount of kills that team made within those 60 seconds, but it also scrolls to that point in time on the timeline. Fancy browsing by location? Tap a kill / death on the map to bring up the path between the two parties, but also scroll to that kill in the timeline.
TimeLine:
The timeline automatically links related events to ensure users can quickly accurately see which events are linked to key events such as Kills and Spawns. You can inspect kill events in more detail, and share a visual representation of that event using the Battlecard composer (Mentioned below). If you have a death event in front of you and are wondering what the location of that kill is, you can quickly perform a long press on that timeline event to show the path in the map. If viewing every event is a bit cumbersome, you can view each players individual timeline by tapping that player in the main match hub.
Event Viewer:
You can view the event, and a side by side comparison between the two parties in the event viewer by tapping on your chosen event. You can also see how far their rivalry extended, and the location of the killer / victim should you be like me and have an embarrassingly short memory / did not see the path in the main timeline view.
Battlecards:
While you’re viewing an event, you can press the share button to bring up the Battlecard composer. In this view you can create a visual representation of that event, and even embellish it with several different types of prop (Explosions, meme props, meme text, shot flashes etc) to share directly onto Facebook, Messenger, Instagram or Twitter (Instagram is especially cool as you can make some pretty cool images using the filters).
