People have already examined it frame by frame and found what appears to be a Promethean sidearm and flamethrower, not to mention the fuel rod explosion/promethean grenade blast/regeneration field. I think it’s hilarious that people have already found all of these things. Anyone else surprised how quickly this stuff came out?

Um, the flamethrower looks a lot bigger. Plus, the sidearm has a clip with what looks like multiple bullets. I would assume that the flame thrower would have a bar that goes down as it is used, not ammo in a clip…
I’m just surprised it took us as long as it did.

That’s because this isn’t your average flamethrower. They look the exact same in both pictures. My theory is that it shoots bursts of flames, hence the individual “bullets”.

Hmmm, I guess it could be. However, look at the flame again, it doesn’t look like a burst, it looks like he comes sprinting onto the screen spraying flames. Oh, and I didn’t know what to call the items in the clip beside bullets, couldn’t think of a word.

Neither could I, so I just put it in parenthesis. We won’t really know how this weapon works until we get more than at most a second of gameplay.

Yeah, after all these years, the Halo community’s speed and depth in analyzing all-things-Halo isn’t really all that surprising anymore (it’s more to be expected really).

I hope there is a flamethrower where it has a recharge rate, like all the AR’s have, and Gatlun, the Plasma Gatlun guns do. Either way, this will be my new primary and my cousin is going to go insane, quite literally as me and a flamethrower means, “Beep!, hes got a flamethrower, run you all before he torches the whole place down…” because I will, or boil the water…mwhahaha

On another note, it doesn’t surprise me that much, I was just laughing at the speed at which we’re already discussing the identities of the weapons.
I think such a quick response bodes well for 343 and the hype of Halo 4, as it shows there is a hunger for information. Ha, first time online in days, and I am welcomed with this. What a pleasant surprise.
