I will break down a couple of important items that need to be improved upon in Arena playlists (Warzone matchmaking restrictions are fine) ASAP if this game wants to stick around for a while.
- Oceania, South America, and other regions around the world have multiple issues even finding games in Arena playlists. Search times are beyond manageable. - The “social” playlist Big Team Battle has hidden ranks causing high-ranked players becoming unable to find games. I was a Champion before BTB went social, it was almost impossible to find games when we had multiple Champion ranks in the party so we would need alts to find games. I am unable to find games even searching by myself in BTB at this current time. BTB isn’t social, only the visible ranks have been hidden. - Most pro teams also had to create alt. accounts in order to find games once they become high-ranked Champions in certain playlists. Matchmaking restrictions need to become less strict. - When searching solo queue, one should never be able to match parties of 4. Full parties should only be able to match other full parties. (Example: Halo 3)I’m sure there are many more I am not including, feel free to comment below and I will add to the OP… this was quickly thrown together.
I enjoy H5’s core gameplay and sandbox, but the entire matchmaking system needs a slight overhaul. Thanks for listening.
I’m from Brazil and I have the same problem. Ussually takes to long to connect, and game like Free For All and Warzone Assallt never goes beyond the “searching for Spartans”.

& Actually pretty much everything you said is right, I can’t get FFA, BTB matches as well. I live in Singapore lol.
Edit: I would also suggest Unranked Slayer/Objective playlist, sometimes I’m just tired of playing against the same people everytime, I go to a match and at least one of them is someone I played with/against the last 3-4 games it’s ridiculous. Also it gets too competitive sometimes hence why I suggested other unranked playlists other than BTB.

There definitely needs to be more social playlists with very loose matchmaking restrictions. That being said, everything under the “Arena” category is still technically ranked. The ranks are just hidden. It would be great if there were three different matchmaking categories: Arena, Social, Warzone
Ensuring paying customers are able to actually play your game should be 343’s #1 priority.
