Purcashed a hard copy version of halo 5, and it won’t install! It will get as high as 5% before it stops, the disc is clean, I’ve hard rested my xbox, and done what Xbox has suggested. Is this happening too anyone else?
mine keep stopping the install every couple mins. Drive sounds like its working double time, very noticeable. Tried a different disc and no issues.
Same thing happened here, got home put the game into the system it said it couldn’t install after it got to 5% due to the game being dirty or damaged, took the game out and put it back into the system and now it wont even recognize that there is a disc in the system. So glad I paid the $60 dollars and went to the midnight release for nothing.

now stuck on 85%. Disc drive has stopped humming though, which I guess is a good thing. Yeah?!
Did anyone find a solution to this problem
I’ve had to restart the update as it was stuck at 90% but now it’s downloading extremely slow and it took me only half hour to get to 90% from the start!!! So not happy right now!
I was stuck at 5% also. I tried it several times and would not work. I uninstalled everything and popped the disc out. Popped in back in and when it prompted for the update I said “Update Later”. I now am at 12% so maybe the update has to be done after the fact? Very disappointing but it’s launch night. Stuff always happens

if you have the preview dash, the is a up date that seemed to fix my issue.
i fully installed the game even the update but when i started the game it just so the main screen when starting games and then it went back to the xbox menu had to reinstall let’s hope it works

This sucks! The update Looks like the update went ok but the game will not install. Stops at 44%. HELP!

Mine stops at 5% too and says disc may be dirty or damaged, i think not considering I tried this morning, it didn’t work so I took the game back to be replaced with another and this disc is having the same problem too!!
Seriously what a joke. Especially after the launch problems with MCC! It would be nice if 343 updated everyone on the problem especially since so many people are experiencing it!
