H5 Rocket Launcher vs SPNKR Rocket Launcher

I like the SPNKr design better, but if you think about it realistically, it’s not practical at all. The magazine/rocket tubes are 90% of the launcher itself, and it is so big and bulky it wouldn’t be worth it to lug around. I absolutely love it’s aesthetic design though.

SPNKR forever. Whatever gave them the idea to change it was awful. You can’t change iconic pieces of Halo. You just can’t. And they did it anyways…

I remember the uproar it caused in the beta how people felt about the new launcher. Not good at all.

SPNKR is better, faster rocket travel rate, Id say varients got SPNKR is also better… Only bad thing is that the SPNKR has a slightly slower reload rate.

i think the 2 weapons have the same pros and cons

Why?

That’s H5 SPNKR. I think he’s talking about H2, 3 ,and 4 SPNKR, but I’d say that Ad victoram is better than most of the SPKNR’s.

> I know for sure the rocket launchers are different but fairly confident the actual rockets fired are the same. Pilum is much more practical and realistic, SPNKr on the other hand… who actually is gonna be carrying around all those tubes?

True. The SPKNR takes longer because I uses 2 tubes, so the rockets dont have to be put in place, but the hatch-thing needs to be opened and closed, which takes longer. The PILUM’s rockets have to be put into place, like “chambering” a bullet, which means a slower rate of fire. However, The rocket mag-thing is merely inserted into the hole like a bullet mag, hence the faster reload. Practically i prefer the Pilum, but the SPKNR looks better.

Imo spnkr in look and effectiveness

The Pilum and SPKNR are the same, rocket-wise. The only difference is the firing rate and reload time. You think it looks like a bigger blast radius because the SPKNR looks more awesome while killing opponents.

Well, most modern rocket launchers look like the SPNKR, but with only 1 tube. But given that its 500 years in the future, they could’ve fit in an extra tube along the way.

SPNKR, not sure were that other rocket luancher came from. I think it got lost when trying to find COD!

Doesn’t matter to me. I still get rocket marys all the time with either of them…

Halo 5 Rocket Launcher(M57). Espicially the Ad Victoriam. The SPNKr I like more is the SPNKr EM(it can lock on to any vehicle)and SPNKr Prime. Its are damage is so high.

There should just be one Rocket, and it should look like it always has.

That’s fine and I know what your saying, but that is his/her opinion. Books are different then video games I feel. I want my video games to be competitive, challenging and most importantly fun! I’d rather shoot something while holding something that looks bad -Yoink- then shoot something while holding something that looks bland and boring! Either way, there was no reason for 343I to change the rocket launcher. I don’t think I ever heard one person ever complain about it in past halo games. Now I hear lots of people complaining…343I just caused drama be changing it and gave a other reason for people to stir ____ up.

Apart from the Prime/Ex I find the SPNKr to be more or less usueless. The H5 launcher feels like it performs much better.

The Halo 5 Rocket shoots a little faster. I like it better.

Aesthetically, the SPNKR without a doubt.

If you’re looking at the actual traits of the weapons, the standard rocket launcher is better simply because it fires faster.

In terms of gameplay I am ok with using either of them, but when it comes to the specific feel and look of the weapon, the SPNKR is the way to go.

  • for me it is better the h5 rocket launcher.
