I was just looking back at some of the footage from the beta today and I suddenly remembered how the SPNKR-XP looked in Marathon 2: Durandal. so now I wonder if 343I purposely had this in mind when making the new launcher or am I just jumping the barrel? anyone else see a resemblance?

agreed they do look very similar which IMO is a good thing
