I really hope Halo 6 is not released this year, Halo 5 has the most content of any Halo 5 game ever made and I would like at least another 2 years to play it. 343 should release a Halo 5:Remastered edition native 4k 60fps this year (will be compatible with regular Halo 5 out now) when Project Scorpio comes out at Christmas. They should also include 20 new maps and some new game modes. This will make them more money in the long run.
I hope you are joking. Halo 5 will die out eventually, Halo 6 will replace it. I would rather have a H3 Anniversary to play in the meantime rather than just playing Halo 5 all the time. Making content is physically draining, I would think the staff at 343 would rather spend there time making Halo 6 than 5, wouldn’t you think?

H6 is the future spartan. They have already announced no H6 in 2017.
Is it possible for 343 to make a patch for H5 to run at 4K? If i am correct PS developers have done patch work for a small selection of games for the PS Pro to take advantage of the extra power.

Would rather have Halo 3 Anniversary. I need my classic Halo fix since I still have problems with The MCC. And hopefully they don’t just make it part of The MCC.
Well I am pleased that it is coming in 2018 and it will come in November 2018 most likely. Perhaps there will be no Halo 5 remastered game with more content but they will most likely have a native 4k update for Halo 5 when project scorpio comes out.

I don’t think that’s exactly been confirmed, it’s speculated to come out next year based on a pattern from the releases of the last few major games.
We’ve already had a confirmation from the Xbox heads that there will be no mainline Halo FPS release this year.
Halo 5? Pfft, I want a Halo Wars 2 remaster this fall. Can throw in a Halo Wars 2 Definitive Edition remaster as well

I would rather have them focus on Halo 6 as Halo 3A is not coming. And I want them to keep working on Halo 6 as long as they need to make a good game.
there is literally no reason for halo 5 to be remastered. for one it was only released a couple years ago and barely at that. also not to mention that because of the insane amount of content in it, it would take forever for 343 to remaster all of it and would cost a lot of money that microsoft doesn’t want or need to spend.
Yes… Let them focus on Halo 6. Make that game spectacular.

Clearly there are many more things that Halo 6 can bring to the table. The community has spoken loud and clear on several things. I just hope 343 is listening.

Still missing core gametypes from previous games and has horrible mp maps,but it has the most content of any halo?..keep telling yourself that
There won’t be separate Scorpio games. The games will be the same but will possibly have higher resolution/frame rate if the developer/publisher decide to patch it.
As for H6 coming out this year don’t worry it won’t. Phil Spencer already confirmed this. Historically speaking it would come out 2018 but with all these major role changes going on within 343i already 1 year - 1.5 years in development I hope that Microsoft will give them the time they need if changes about the game are also taking place hinting at a possible 2019 release. This is all speculation of course. We don’t know at what stage they are at or how much has changed after the role changes so I’m just throwing out what ifs.
343 will release Halo 3 Remastered this year. They released Halo CE Remastered in 2011 (10 years after the original) and Halo 2 Remastered in 2014 (10 years after the original). Halo 3 came out in 2007… hmmm, I wonder if 343 wants to capitalize on the best selling Halo game in the franchise? Releasing Halo 3 remastered this year isn’t even a question, it’s a home run.
Just think how stoked everyone will be at E3 2017 once they hear Martin O’Donnell’s iconic soundtrack. 343 is smart for keeping Halo 3 remaster under the radar.
Personally, I’m most excited to see how 343 updates the level “The Ark.” There is so much room for graphical improvement on the ark.
