I’ve fallen in love with all the weapon variants in Halo 5 Guardians. Have you? The ability to have a scoped assault rifle, or silenced magnum, or CQC DMR… I’d be down for a weapon configuration ability like from Crysis. Would you? Tell me about your thoughts.
In my opinion it was one of the areas done right and actually improved the game. I know some disagree but I’d like to pick up where they left off in terms of weapon variants.
I’d be fine with it in campaign but not in multiplayer. In multiplayer it distracts from halo’s core combat being a level playing field at spawn.

If let’s say you could spawn in with a broad array of gear I’d agree. But how 5 is right now where you have to fight your way up, in my opinion, weeds out the less skilled players and forces them to build the skills needed to, as they say “git gud”. Either point could be argued well I think. Do you think it distracts from the core when spawning with high gear or simply having the ability to do so?
