For the past few weeks I’ve been working on my first Halo 5 montage for my YT channel.
Just wondering how you guys will react to it, and I look forward to hearing from you! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbtAnSUyi58w3RTIzy4RU7A
Really good job! Love what you have done with incorporating this really awesome song (from one of my favorite movies)! Using the gun shot sounds with your kills was my favorite part and a really good idea! And your machinima intro as well as your closing was really well done!
My only piece of constructive feedback would be with the overall sound mix in regards to hearing the game audio from your footage. It was a little distracting cause I was expecting to hear the game audio which you incorporated with some of the clips but wasn’t used throughout. I would recommend to use it throughout so that you can keep the consistency with the other clips that did have it. Then once you have the game audio, you can play with the sound levels of the game audio to lower for parts where you want the music to be the main focus (such as the gunshots from the song). This way, it will make these moments resonate even more and standout in a big way from the rest of your montage.
Definitely one of my favorite montages I have seen! Be sure to post again when you make your next one!

Glad you liked it! Thanks for the feedback and I shall put it into account in my next montage (Dunno what I’ll do with it, we’ll just see where fate takes us)
