Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a quick search of the forums and found no other thread since the actual contents were announced.
Anyway, looking at the contents, I’d like to know your opinions on it as I am stuck between pre-ordering the limited edition or just settling for the standard edition.
The Fall of Reach series sounds the most appealing to me, but this will most likely be posted online or maybe even the Halo channel. The Guardian model I am not sure about and I don’t really care about the Warzone packs or the dossiers. The extra cost is also a big drawback.
I will definitely be getting the limited edition. Like you i’m most excited for the FOR animated series, but the guardian model looks really cool too. Also, since i’m a huge lore nut, i’m really looking forward to reading the dossiers and Locke’s orders. The limited edition has everything the limited collectors edition has except for the Locke and Chief statue and is much cheaper. So yes, I think it is definitely worth it.

Yeah the difference in cost for a statue is ridiculous.
It depends on how long and detailed the dossiers are really. I think I’ll probably end up going with the limited edition, with Fallout 4 coming too it’s just a lot of money.
I’m going Limited myself. The Guardian statue and dossiers look pretty cool, and the REQ packs are a nice bonus too. Plus, since I haven’t got around to reading TFOR yet, that’s already saved me £8 in the future.
It’s all up to you if you think the investment is worth it or not. Others will have different opinions, you just have to pick on what you think is best. Personally I am getting the Console (when they announce it) and the limited. For me it’s worth it because there are very few games where I spend teh extra and limited and collector editions.
