I thought he was trolling when he said that he likes halo 5 not having splitscreen

Personally, I don’t have a problem with no splitscreen, mostly because I don’t play splitscreen at all, and most people don’t as well. I empathize with the people who do have a problem with this however, especially for whom it was a regularly used feature.

Not having playable elites for multiplayer is not a bad thing as most people make it out to be. In reality, they are much bigger than Spartans, especially Spartan IV’s, so they would in theory be a lot easier to hit. Halo 5’s Multiplayer is made with absolute balance in mind, and having two species that vary in size, durability, movement, strength, and technology would canonically break Halo.

I believe that the Armor customization is more than enough, compared to every game except maybe reach, it has more armor options and combinations than any other Halo.

I really love firefight but I’m not entirely sad to see it go. The direction Halo: Reach took firefight was not much my style, but that might have just been the game mechanics itself producing that effect. Warzone is, in my opinion, a good evolution to firefight, its not the exact same thing, but I’m sure many of the people who loved firefight will find themselves enjoying Warzone as well.

I don’t mind that Spartan Ops is leaving because honestly the gameplay was very dry. It did not provide that much of a challenge compared to the Campaign which personally dragged it down for me, infinite lives and big open battlegrounds just did not work that much in Halo 4. I personally didn’t enjoy it, and much of the effort put into it was for naught, as most people did not continue to play it, or even play it at all.

With how Halo 5 is implementing microtransactions I don’t will be a detriment to the overall Warzone experience. Some people will pay for things that I will get just by playing, and those items don’t prove much of an advantage in the long run. I foresee most of the people utilizing the microtransactions being not as skilled as players who choose not to get them, they want to have an advantage (even if it is only slight).

I agree didn’t use splitscreen too much and the micro transcations aren’t required to unlock stuff

Huh? Well seeing as how Halo CE-3 only had color, emblems, armor, head and shoulders (max). Although Halo 4 had color, emblems, armor, head, visor, shoulders, forearms, and legs. While so far what’s been shown in Halo 5 is color, emblems, armor, head, visor and skins. From what I’m seeing its not more customization than Halo 4 that’s obvious but more than Halo 3? It looks about the same as Halo 3 unless you want to count the skins but then I could say Halo 3 had three colors. Stances and assassinations have nothing to do with armor customization that’s just customization in general. Stances are silly and assassinations are meant for people who assassinate often. So Im not sure how Halo 5 has more armor options than Halo 4 but more than Halo 3 barely which is a bad thing. Are you sure your not smoking something and seeing things.

yeah more than halo 3 aint too bad plus I heard there are thousands of armor sets to choose from so we’ll see when they may or may not show off a peek at armor customization before launch

Yep vast improvement since 8 years ago, there aren’t thousands obviously but even then only a few armors would be selected because there is little to no mix and match. Only time will tell if they even bothered to improve the armor customization.

Count the amount of armor types compared to Halo 3, even in the beta alone there was more different types of armor than all of Halo 3. And Halo 4 did not have all of that customization, Reach did. Amount of armor options doesn’t only encompass how many parts of the armor you can change, its also how many different armor permutations exist, which is alot, especially compared to Halo 3, maybe even Halo 4 and Reach. Personally, I dont think that legs and forearm options matter, they were hardly noticeable compared to different chests, helmets, etc.

I want to Break free !
I want crazy custom armor and spleetscreen.

I like pretty much everything about Halo 5, my one and only dislike is our community it is pretty crappy :).

limiting multiplayer choices by forcing it to be canon(such as lack of playable elites)
no BTB at launch

Glad you are not developing Halo 5 otherwise I would probably be playing Halo 3.5. Highlighted in bold though I think maybe you should change to just non playable Elites? As canon is clearly not an issue otherwise we wouldn’t have warzone. Plus many other people have pointed out in the lore Elites are allowed to participate in war games with spartans.

This should not be DLC, though they should just make other games within the universe but as fully fledged games like with Halo Wars 2 I don’t want DLC expansions like Destiny and The Taken King etc being part of my Halo games. Thankfully we are not dealing with Activision though the robbing -Yoinks!-.

I didnt see a grenade indicator in the new sanghelios footage that was released on monday they took out elites due to the different hitboxes and elites are allowed to train with spartans in war games so that reason u have is irrelvant smartscope is same zoom functio different look

No, I want it to be DLC. I don’t mean continuations of the main plot. I literally mean DLC of previous Halo stories. Like Contact Harvest, or Ghosts of Onyx. A full fledged game would be more of a waste to me because A. The game would have to be really padded out to warrant the price, and it would be a huge risk as people aren’t likely to buy a whole seperate game just to find out about Johnson’s unhappy memories. The DLC can be more bullet pointed story arcs needing less connections and can use time skips and a lot more in game cutscenes. Basically a much heavier story driven experience. That way you may only have to pay $10-$15 for a 3-4 side story.

I seriously hate when people try to pass off DLC that has nothing to do with the main game and say that they are “attempting to sell us an incomplete game and give us the rest of it as dlc” no, ghosts of Onyx/contact harvest etc are not part of Halo 5, it’s added content for people interested in it. This isn’t capcom where it’s already made and on the disk. (And I don’t want a Halo 3 ODST, I hated ODST’s game mechanics as it was incredibly lazy)
