I am aware that there will be a new ranking system that they will be featuring in H5, but I want to know if your character has a separate leveling systems (much like that of H4). I had to resort to posting this in the forums because I have tried to find this on the internet, but only the ranking system appears. I have not played the beta (be easy on me).
You have SR, which is a basic progression system that starts at 1 and ends at a big, unknown number
CSR is your ranking for a particular playlist, division based, wins required to rank up, team based ranking.
CSR is mainly used to match you up with people of similar skill, but it also shows your skill level in each particular playlist.
There are two types of ranking systems that will be in Halo 5 to my knowledge.
The first being your skill Arena rank, each Arena playlist will feature its own rank that you will level up when winning games etc.
The second is a passive SR (Spartan Rank) that is leveled up after completing games in any type, commendations etc. After each rank up you will get a free Req Pack with varying rarity the higher you level.
