H5 IDEAS: Flood Survival, Elite Ops, Brutes +More

Just thought i’d share my ideas.

Campaign:
Long & Alot of missions.
Flood
Brutes
Friendly grunts & hunters (At the end of h2, the hunters and grunts were with the Arbiter… How come on H3 they were enemies?)
Rebels (UNSC enemies)
Return of the Spirit of Fire(Tf happened to them)

Multiplayer/Gameplay:
Remove sprint
Change the weapon designs
Replace ADS with original scoping
Original crouch control
Duel Wielding
Halo CE pistol
Decrease the kill time speed(i noticed in halo 5 it was way too easy to kill another player)
Giant Team Battle (35 vs 35 players)
Larger Maps for big battles
Playable Brutes
Playable Elites
Objects (From halo 3)
Keep ground pound (That actually looks awesome)
Bigger forge budget
Spectre’s
Elephants
Mini Scarab (A little bit larger than the wraith and scorpion. Has 2 sides for passengers 2 people per side. A turret on the top. Driver gets to move, climb over things and shoot the scarab laser.)
Add jetpacks (Halo Reach style)

Firefight:
Keep it classic(H3: ODST style)
No options could be made
Playable Elites, Brutes, ODST, and spartan.
More enemies

Flood Survival:
Play on flood based maps (Maps that look infested)
Make it challengable

  • Complete certain tasks to unlock characters and maps- Easter Eggs- Boss battles when hit round 10, 20, 30, you know the cycle.- No loadouts- Start out with an SMG & Shotgun- Start off with some help from the sentinels- Start off with 10 lives
    Play 1-4 players(both on/offline)

Elite Ops:
A squad of elites are sent to a halo ring/forerunner planet to destroy of whats left of the flood. A gravemind tries it’s best to eliminate what gets in its way. But, some brute covenant also come in the way to try to revive the Great Journey & destroys whatever gets in their way. Now, the Arbiter’s elites & UNSC have more worries other than the flood.

Spartan Ops:
Season 1 is available for offline people
Season 2’s story continues off of season 1’s.

This all sounds amazing EpicAngel00. I do hope they would incorporate some of this. Also some of the comics (official) explain the latest events with Spirit of Fire, may want to look into that. Leaves some interesting knowledge and new questions :slight_smile:

brutes -> YES

friendly grunts and hunters -> well, the arbiter leads most of the old covenant now (i guess), those who fight chief in Halo 4 are sort of “covenant rebel terrorists” who hunt forerunners technoogies

rebels-> I don’t really mind fighting humans XD

multiplayer:

sprint-> needed to feel like a modern game (they already nerfed it)

what do you mean for “change the weapons design”?

Smart Scope is the original scoping with just an animation

original crouch control-> I don’t know, I play recon buttons

dual wielding would be awesome!

halo ce pistol would be too much OP XD

yes, I think we’ve got try SMG, it looks too deadly, and if all of the weapons are so, I would Increase a little bit the shields power

giant team -> 35v35 maybe is too much players, 16v16 would be ok, but I don’t think it is strictly necessary

larger maps would be used for 16v16 i guess

playable brutes and elites would have a much different gameplay from spartans, it would be cool (it would be sort of Gears 3 Beast mode)

halo 3 ground items would take another button on the controller, it could be difficult to insert them and make them work properly in the game (but I’d like to use bubble shield :D)

ground pound-> yes

bigger forge budget-> yes

spectre and elephant-> yes (destructible elephant!)

jetpack-> it is an armor ability, not a spartan ability, it would change the game too much

h3 odst firefight -> i’d prefer Halo reach style, with options (why not? XD)

playable spartans, odst, elites, brutes -> yes

flood survival -> i’d prefer to choose what enemies will attack me in firefight (covenant, floods, prometheans, or I can choose just one or two of them to come in random waves)

spartan/elite ops -> yes!

The halo 3 items could be re-integrated as a grenade type, so you have all you grenades, you pick up a trip mine, you hold onto it for a little while, then press down on the d-pad then your grenade throw button to toss it down, or if you change your mind you press down again and you go back to your grenades as normal.

very good idea!

I’d say no to jet-packs but the rest seems fine plus pretty sure the mini scarab is basically a Locust like in Halo Wars.
