Saw UberNick post a video a few days ago about heavy aim on xbox series and claiming it was gone. Played a few games now and I think it really is. There was one warzone game I played on expanded that didn’t feel great but I assume that was due to the server if the other matches felt good. If it really is gone I think I’m gonna get back into H5 until Infinite drops.
Speaking for myself, I had heavy aim occur for about a week a month or two back. That was 1 of maybe 2 or 3 instances where I experienced it. I don’t think it’s very prevalent if you have a good internet connection and nothing else running in the background.

Wish that was my experience. I’ve tried several times to get back into H5 but the heavy aim was a real problem for me. Feels like a new game on the xsx so I’m very excited so far.
I’ve rarely experienced heavy aim and it may be because my deadzones are at zero. The only time I actually remember experiencing it was when I was getting shot in the back during the match. Mid turn heavy aim kicked in and I never got the chance to shoot back. A friend of mine who received his Series X the other day said Uber Nick has no idea what he is talking about because he mostly plays social. My friend only plays ranked and said it is still there.

Interesting, I’ll try ranked later and see what I get. So far I’ve only played quickplay and WZ.
Jesus, reading these replies makes me think no one understands the cause of heavy aim.

Videos are not available, but the text explanation was clear enough. Perhaps I’ve simply gotten used to the aiming in H5. I must admit, it felt very weird when I first started playing the game. I attributed that to a learning curve, but now I see there may be more to it.

Makes sense if it’s CPU based there wouldn’t be a problem on the series x/s. Never saw that before, thanks for the link.
