I’ve been stuck in a rut… Well more accurately I have some Neutral Initial spawn points and flag spawns that are stuck below terrain… No clue how they got there but I cannot select them to delete them. I am now very far into the development cycle for my map and these have caused me quite a few headaches. I have since gone back to an earlier version of the map and am able to work around them… But they’re still there. This problem has sometimes caused players to spawn below the map and not die but are still stuck and unable to move until the match has ended. I would like to be able to select by type> All spawns > delete all spawns as opposed to deleting EVERYTHING on my map. Please help!
Wow. Halo 5 forge has been really glitchy for me. I placed down several weapons in a group together and accidentally placed too many of them. One of the groups I can’t even select to delete and every time I delete the second group and save, they are still their next time I load up the map! This is extremely annoying because I’m really tight on my FX budget and I can’t place down any more weapons that I need because I can’t delete other weapons.
Press (X), then select Forge Options, then scroll down to the header that says “Reset” and select “Delete all Objects”. Done
EDIT: Sorry i read the title wrong, sadly there is no such thing as “delete by type” as far as my knowledge goes.
Not sure if you have already fixed it or not but if you select an object press x go to object properties scroll down and click on (select all of) all of the objects the same as the first object you selected will be selected except grouped objects and welded objects unless you have more than 64 then you can just deselect all the objects that are in the correct place and you will be left holding only the object you need to remove
Get another spawn point, hit “Select All Of These” or something, then kill.
Thanks guys I’ll give these a try. Its definitely been a while since the latest forge updates and its likely they added those features in since the time I originally asked the question.
You can only delete the map entirely, by groups, or by certain objects (E.G. amount of respawn points/weapons). You can’t delete by a main category like you could in halo 4.
