Less than 1 month for Halo 5: Guardians and soon we will finally see some Forge. The Forge in Halo 2: Anniversary is for me, the most complete Forge in all series, and I am starting to think if the new Forge coming in H5: Guardians could be better than all the previous Forge’s of the games.
And now a question that is not related to the thread, the option of Betrayal teammates is gone or is still in the game?
I really hope it is the best. I’m not much of a Forger myself, but I do love me some Custom Games. When Forgers have more options, then they can do a lot more with their maps and give everyone great memories and experiences.
As for Friendly Fire, it IS in Arena but I don’t think it’s in Warzone.
Forge (and Customs) better have every single new weapon variant.
halo 4’s forge was a little disappointing but it was still an improvement. then we got halo 2 anniversary and it was amazing. halo 5 has to be some seriously good stuff!
Well according to what’s-his-face developer dude, Halo 5’s forge will be the biggest evolution of forge since its inception.

still an improvement? from reach? it only taken backwards steps. hopefully h5 is good, would be nice to make dynamic lighting an option though.
Actually, H4 added one or two things. Magnetism wasn’t in Reach, and it also added map-custom effect zones.

I’m curious. I hear a lot of people say this, but I haven’t forged on Reach in a while. How exactly is it superior to 4 and especially H2A?

Yeah. Magnets, Trait Zones, Object Duplicate, and Object Lock were great ideas. However they’d broken pretty much everything else.

Over Halo 4 it had better movement controls, a large canvas, “Purple” filter (night maps), and more custom options. Over H2A it had better-looking pieces and premade terrain.
Over both it had instant Monitor-Human swapping, more “consistent” visuals, and a strong File Share system.
Has forge even been confirmed yet? Id be really surprised if they left out, but I’ve literally seen nothing about it.

Totally agreed. I’d be disappointed if not.

Whatcha mean, it’s been confirmed months ago, we just haven’t seen it yet. Don’t panick lol. I think Forge is so better and big, that we will get Forge BTB maps like Halo Reach again. There goes your uniquely crafted BTB maps, or they could be official maps like Truth force example.
Now I have feeling that they won’t include every Weapon and vehicle variant from Warzone. Warzone maps and gametypes don’t exist outside of matchmaking, but we’ll see.
My biggest wish is to make dynamic lighting an option in the menu. So you forge a lot, open up the menu and click “generate lighting” and bam. No need for generating the lighting every 5 seconds.
I’m holding out until the possible information drops next week before I get too ahead of myself. But heres hoping forge will blow our minds.

H2As forge has highs and lows.
Highs being it carried over helpful tools such as duplication and magnets. (And actually got them to work.)
Lows being texture quality and map stability for custom games. (but that’s most likely a problem with the game.)
I hope it is. I don’t forge myself personally. Can someone please make haloween customers or even just maps when forge is out? I’d do it but im so bad it.
