H5 firefight. What needs to happen.

So I’ve been playing firefight. And it’s fun at first but quickly gets boring. Now I understand if you’re one of those people that don’t have others to play with in an actual war zone game. So firefight is what you’re going to result to playing. But I’ve already noticed AFK and just not trying. For the sheer fact that they really don’t have to. Although the credit payout isn’t that great especially if you range from 1st or 3rd place. Not only that but it’s really not worth using req cards that you’ve earned. This is what needs to happen to firefight to make it last as long as possible otherwise people are just going to farm until they get their enemy commendations and then just stop playing.

First off like everyone says there needs to be more game modes. Or modifiers I think we all remember generator defense which wasn’t great but also wasn’t bad. But with some of the stuff that 343 has come up with so far and a Little Help from the community I don’t think that’ll be hard at all.

Second thing that needs to happen for 1st,2nd and 3rd place the players automatically be awarded req packs for being in the top 3. I’m not saying Gold packs by any means . Maybe a silver pack for 1st place and bronze packs for the other two. Not much but something to compete for on top of what they would have already earned.

Third thing that needs to happen. Find a way to implement points earned in firefight enabel you to buy reqs instead of wasting what you’ve earned. I don’t know about you but I’m not going to waste any requisition card in firefight. I haven’t the people that I played with hasn’t anyone in their right mind wouldn’t . I feel like this is just a way to get the players to buy more req packs with money or just waste their hard earned req points.

It can be fun if done right. And it would be a lot more fun to a lot more people if they didn’t have to worry about wasting what they’ve earned and just being able to go ham and test out new things that they may have unlocked seeing on you “343” failed to put an option in Forge where you can just spawn a requisition item and try it out.

Flood firefight would be so cool. They’d probably end up doing Warden Eternal being infected by flood as the mythic boss though, I think they should have the Gravemind though

If by “more game modes” you mean a solo game mode, then yes, this is what warzone firefight needs desperately. Playing firefight in any other way means I’m not playing against the enemy, it means I’m playing against my team mates for kills, and that’s something I can do in virtually any game mode in all of Halo. I didn’t need a team-based firefight to give me that. I need it for a solo experience that I can play at my own pace and not get infuriated every time some faster player gets the kill, or betrays my with his scorpion, or happens to be on top of the next enemy spawn while I’m still half way across the map trying to get my thumb out of my -yoink-.

Solo mode, please, 343.

That or an escort mode…sorta like escorting vergil in odst
