Am I the only one? If I win I get no points. Ive placed second and gone down. Just placed first with no change.
Champ grind will take a year like this. Ruins the game for me.
Is CSR about your KD against each other player or about placing 1st, 2nd or 3rd?

I have read that. Looking for help understanding it from someone who can give us FFA players a direct explaination so we know what we have to do to advance our CSR.
Not trying to rile anyone up. Just want to get a straightforward explaination so we can use to my ranking up advantage.

Menke explained it in the update which said that your FFA rank is inflated too high from getting points that you shouldn’t have gotten so now you’re going to lose points until it evens out to where it should be and then you’ll get points again.

Why was it better? The way it sounds some players rank was higher than it should’ve been. This way it is more accurate. It will even itself out after awhile.

I don’t like that they put more emphasis on you have to get 1st to go up in CSR. Winning in FFA is hard enough. It sounds like they made it pretty much impossible to rank up now because you will lose CSR a lot easier than gaining it.

It sounds to me like the requirements for first only are for those with inflated CSR. Once we are where we should be it will go back to 1, 2, and 3 to gain CSR. Still a good thing in my opinion.

That is also what I don’t like. Who has inflated CSR? How did inflated CSR happen? We can’t even really see our CSR until we hit onyx 1500. I know after I hit onyx 1500 I never saw my CSR go up from a 5th or below finish.
Guess I will find out how good or bad it is next time I get a chance to grind some FFA.

My rank isnt too high, lol. I was Champ 96 last season. This account is low as it was a new account in the 1700 Onyx range since I have not been playing much.
So they may be bringing us all down a peg but it must apply to all players - not just those whose rank is higher than it should be. And if that were the case, they would go down naturally anyway.
Ranking was better before. I think I’ll sit the rest of this season out. I dont want to play to try to rank up if 343 is going to take my points away, lol.

Here again, my last rank was Champ 96 so Im not inflated on this new account.
