What do you folks think of it?
I think it looks pretty spiffy. I like the two-tone look.
Like the minimalist design. Waiting for it to be available to pre-order. That and the MC Xbox One controller.

Looks really cool, makes me wish I didn’t already have an Xbox so I could buy it lol. And it comes with Fotus armor and the limited edition of the game ? thats pretty sick.
Also love the master chief controller think I will pick one of those up.

The console comes out on the 20th along with a digital copy of the game. Is it safe to assume that the copy of the game will not be active till the 27th, or are people who get the console get the game a week early?

The digital versions of the game are being made available a week early so people have plenty of time to download & install so it’s ready to go on the 27th - it will not be playable before midnight on launch day though.
I dislike it just a little. Not because of the design, but how much more they could have done. I own the H4 console and I love how they made it sort of see through. I mean, it doesn’t give a whole bunch of sight to the inside of the console. But, who knows, maybe the XB1 internals are ugly right now.
I much prefer the Master Chief Controller also.
If I was in front of my computer and I had a bunch of money, I’d be throwing it at my screen right now. Dying to get my hands on that Master Chief controller

I want it to, but I can’t justify owning so many controllers lol. I already have 1 normal, 1 SCUF, and I will be getting the non-MC h5 controller and the elite controller. So I don’t need a 5th one lol.
Well Amazon was already sold out on the Master Chief Controller but the Microsoft Store has them for the moment, I pre-ordered mine there. Pre-ordered my console from my local shop as Microsoft Store was already sold out. So spotty availability already less than 3 hours after announcement, pre-order quick guys if you can.

I am really excited for these controllers.
I’m still using my “Day One 2013” controller and I’ve been really interested in the new Covert Forces controller because of the improved triggers/bumpers. I got to play around with a friend’s and I really liked it, but I was disappointed I couldn’t get a plain black one.
I was also holding off because I love using a Halo themed controller and I’m glad I waited. I’ll definitely be getting that Master Chief controller and maybe Spartan Locke’s too.
