The H5 beta looked more advanced then it done now. What do you guys think.
it’s probably just the update. i’m sure it will get fixed soon.
H5 beta was no where near as “good” as the game now.
-tons of bugs
- 10+ min wait time into most games
- constant blinding glare every time you get near a light or hold the energy swords
- game types: slayer, strongholds, breakout
- 6 maps? Total and 2 of them were forge maps
- kill cameras
- shooting grenades in players’ hands to instant kill them
- ranking was based on population not skill
- most guns freaked out when zooming in, DMR being the worst imo
Yes the beta had a better UI, Graphics, servers (you didn’t randomly freeze your screen when people quit)
The beta was a blast for sure, but it was definitely not even close to being as polished as the full game. Overtime update definitely needs some tweaks to clean the game up a little currently, but otherwise the only issue before the update was server stability.
This is bit off-topic, does anybody remember what the max SR was in the Halo 5 Beta? And I believe it’s how you got the Beta Prime emblem
I played beta a bit in my friends account and it was pretty cool
The beta definitely looked better than the final product when it came to lighting and shading. Unfortunately, some maps had occasional visibility issues, hence the glow in the dark spartans we have now.
Beta was pretty bad, it lead to flinch still being included but thankfully they got rid of those poses every time a match ends also I believe the beta was brighter but Scorpio came out thing’s seem slightly brighter again but not as much as the beta was.
Visually, it was far superior to the final game. As far as gameplay goes though, the game on release was a bit more polished. However I haven’t played since the update, so I couldn’t tell you how the Beta compares to the game now.
I liked the beta… The noise that headshots made was pretty awesome. Like a melon splitting. To be honest, I don’t remember if it’s the same noise now though.
I think the game is better now.
So, I’ve played the game with the new updates and have an opinion. While the game on release played better than the Beta, I think the Beta is better than the game in its current state after Overtime.
Visually it looks better in my opinion (beta that is) put the actual game plays better
