It might just be me but I thought the beta looked much better than the current Warzone build (though I may be wrong in assuming the Warzone build is the most recent). I know halo has always had a cartoony element but in Warzone I liked it less than the beta, unless it is deliberately toned back for framerate purposes. I know they said polishing comes towards end of production cycle but a step back in graphics (in my opinion; feel free to disagree) going to a later build worries me. I guess I will just have to trust them, they did a good job with graphics in 4 and h2a
Youtube bro. It always looks worse on youtube compared to actually playing it.
Things like the energy sword, looked loads better in the beta, and the br in the warzone build sounds like just one shot when in the beta it was a noticable burst, and the warzone build just looks way more cartoony
I respect some people might like it, and that is fine. Just my opinion.

I completely agree that the energy sword looked so much better in the beta. It looked so menacing and cool.
Totally man. The metal on the walls looks like plastic. White plastic with stripes. White with stripes everywhere

But he’s right…
Hey OP,
When did you play the Warzone beta?
Lol, when watching Warzone gameplay I did have to look at the ammo display to make sure the BR was still burst fire or if they had changed it to a semi-auto firearm. Admittedly, it’s a bit jarring.

Thank you

I didn’t
Youtube vids. I know it won’t be the same but there is a noticeable difference.

And I’m not the only one
You need glasses OP. The beta is everything you’re saying with the plastic models. That’s what the beta looked like and it was 720 p and Warzone is running at like 860p or something.
It’s difficult to judge. I actually haven’t found any 60fps warzone gameplay because the capture cats at the events are capped at 30. Plus YouTube quality sucks, so there’s that. I’m gonna go ahead and say we’ll just wait and see. I personally think it still looks really nice.

During the beta a bunch of people complained about the energy sword being too bright.
To be fair, the Beta maps were close-quarters Arena battlefields with two teams of four Spartans with unfinished textures. Warzone utilizes much larger maps with two teams of twelve players as well as countless AI enemies that spawn in. Also take all the vehicles into consideration and the finished spartan, weapon, and vehicle textures, and there are bound to be sacrifices somewhere along the line. That being said, the game has a little over two months left to go. Most of that time will be optimization work, during which sound effects, music, voiceover, and graphics will be fine tuned to be the best they can possibly be at this time.
I can’t really judge considering YouTube doesn’t do video game gameplay justice.
I can agree that it does look a little “cartoony”, but not really all that much and nothing to really fret about.
Graphic wise, I can see a significant improvement even through YouTube.

The H5 beta BR didn’t sound like a burst gun…it sounded like a lower pitched DMR.

I use contact lenses
idk, can’t quite put my finger on it, but did definitely think beta looked nicer
Beta was great…WarZone looks AMAZING!! Halo 5 will be BEAST all over I hope, we have to play final version to see.
