I don’t really like it either. He is occasionally alright but most of the time just annoys me.

Well now, that’s a bold claim there. I hope they’re right, I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen so far. I’m actually excited to see what they have to show. I haven’t been this excited since I was watching E3 one year and I saw a trailer that started with the words “You are, all of you, vermin…”

What did that response have to do with me? The trailer I was referring to was the Halo 3 campaign reveal trailer several years back if that’s what you were talking about.

You don’t know a damn thing about the competitive community, and the fact that you said anything about this, without the comment you quoted having said anything about them makes me think you’re the obnoxious one, but I digress.
I know Snipedown is an MLG player, so I don’t think his endorsement of Halo 5 is really worthy of any hype. As far as gameplay is concerned, Halo 5 looks fun as hell, and I know I’ll enjoy it, but it doesn’t look revolutionary as a game. It’s not going to change the console market like Halo 1 did, it’s not going to innovate in any real way like Halo 2 did, and it’s not going to get as massive community following based on the burgeoning popularity of it’s predecessors like Halo 3 did.
Don’t get your hopes up, but I hope i’m wrong.

No, don’t get me wrong. I know I will enjoy Halo 5, but everytime I hear “MLG” I end up thinking about those obnoxious idiots on team chat insulting newbie players. And I think this will be an issue with Halo 5, if they put up every playlist as ranked. I strongly disagree with such thing. I’m very sure that separate Ranked and Social playlists as in Halo 3 would be a lot better for the newcomers and “pros”.
Yunno, I think Halo 5 would really blow console gaming out the water this year, if it had split-screen…
just hope its not Halo MCC or 5 on pc…
