Okay, let me just say that I took a pretty good break from this game. I was playing Halo: CE, Halo 3 and other games that weren’t Halo. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I missed Halo 4. Yes, I missed the DMR and the Boltshot all of that. So I went back to playing this game, and I’ve actually had some fun playing. So what did I learn over this little break? Halo 4 is being poisoned by the community. Yes, all the whiners that can’t adapt to this game. the DMR is not that broken, and even if it is so what? The obvious solution would just be to use the -Yoinking!- DMR! You can cry me a river about BR nostalgia, but 343 could care less.
Point of this thread: Guys, stop complaining about this game. I did it too, and it’s really not doing anything.
If complaints of the constructive variety are not made, how can the game become even better?
The opposite of drowning 343 in praise where there are several flaws to be addressed (File Share, forge implementation of 4v4 maps/improvements, weapon balancing etc) would hurt the community and the game even more. Instead of having of polished, TU’d Halo 4, we’ll just get a good Halo 4 that had the potential to become something better in your world.
Telling people to stop complaining is a foolish attempt. The forums are a primary source of feedback both positive and negative. Get used to it because your thread isn’t going to make difference. Those before you have made similar threads and they didn’t do anything to improve community. I’ve been here for a while, i’ve seen such topics come and go, inviting nothing but flaming and non-constructive arguments.
What do you expect with the “new fans” it brought to the halo franchise, go look at their forums and tell me what it consists of. i think youll get the picture

IMO Halo4 is great, not many flaws. Lag is SO should be addressed tho.
I dont mind any change, and llok foward to the CSR and TU!
Things would rarely be fixed and issues would rarely be addresed if people didn’t talk about them.
Good or bad, feedback is feedback and its easy to sort a general complaint away from a construtive one that not only addresses the issue but also supports why its an issue and maybe how to fix it or solutions for it.
its the fact the dmr doesnt have a range and promotes camping… the br did… promoted movement… and you cant adapt to this game its impossible… to random and luck driven. halo 4 is the worst installment into the series…

Hey the DMR has range… I think… lets see… its great at CQ,MID… and semi-far… hmm range… What about the BS and camping, the secondary fires farther then a shotgun it to promotes camping.
These days I see more threads about how people should stop complaining than I see threads of people actually complaining. Seriously if someone has constructive criticism it shouldn’t be misconstrued as complaining. Yes some people take it too far and if that’s the case then just don’t respond to said post. It seems to me that when some one has an opinion on here that doesn’t speak positively about the game 5 more post about how they need to stop whining pops up.
My point: Not everyone is complaining. Just because they don’t like the game doesn’t make them whiners. There’s no need to have 100 threads pop up everyday to tell people they’re whining to much. You’re not being constructive you’re just causing more clutter and arguments.
> The OP is essentially saying Halo 4 shouldn’t be balanced and improved.
Well it may be his opinion that the DMR and bolt are not OP anymore? Myself o think they are fine the way they are but you know me, if it were changed. i would NOT mind it!

So if the clients are not happy with the service they should leave a bigger tip? That makes sense, NOT.

From my point of view…
Point of this thread:
Stop trying to offer constructive criticism that will fix the game because if I think it is fine then all the people with legitimate concerns are whiners and cryers and need to adapt because I think the game is ok.
In short:
Your opinion isn’t the only one that matters bud. There are some legitimate concerns with Halo 4 from the old fanbase and we want to be heard, especially since we have been around the longest. I do not know how you missed Halo 4 and the DMR and Boltshot. I went back and played H3 custom and had more fun than I ever did with Reach or 4. Halos 1,2,3 were Halo. Reach and 4 aren’t horrible games, but they are garbage Halo games IMO.

So you like imbalanced weapons? Why even have any other options then? The Boltshot is shotgun you can spawn with, there is no reason anybody should get to spawn with that kind of power. The DMR has the best range of all the rifles and has ridiculous hitscan.

Ok let us take a look at your boltshot statistics.
You are progressed to SR108, by far your two most popular playlists are below.
How can you say it’s overpowered when it accounts for less than 2% of deaths overall? Seriously all they need to do is fix the reload glitch and nerf the range so the scattershot has a better place in the sandbox. Nothing too bad to whine about though.
The community didn’t decide to have a small number of competitive maps. The community didn’t decide to have the DMR dominate the BR. The community didn’t decide to not be able to remove instant respawn from gametypes. The community…
so on and so forth. Blaming the community is a joke.

In 2 playlists, not all of matchmaking overall. Stop trying to slip one past us bro. Look at slayer and Regicide, now those are the BS havens.
