Does anybody else like the music they heard in the VidDoc? It’s reminicent of Halo but different.
While playing anniversary yesterday, I felt reconnected with the mysterious elements of Halo. Granted, I know that sounds sort-of cheesy but hear me out. I tried to put myself in the mindset of the Chief and set aside my knowledge of the rest of the story and the mystery element spewed from the 10-yr old game. Now that we’re tackling a story largely involved with the forerunners, the direction of the soundtrack (if the VidDoc’s music is any testament) seems like the right one.

I started a similar thread and some guy (forgot the name) posted a link with the music. Thx.

It’s Forerunner and EPIC!
Was just about to post a topic, but thought I’d look to see if anyone else made one.
The first thing to catch my eyes, or ears, rather, as I watched the ‘Making Halo 4’ video was the chills-inducing music. Like, seriously. I was especially captivated by the snippet at the beginning, up to about 1:05. I can imagine that music erupting from my speakers, and around me, as I look in awe at the grand Forerunner environments.
I don’t think the music sounds “haloish” at all. That bright violin part sounds exactly like a LOTR soundtrack.
I loved the music that came on immediately as the map and gameplay was revealed. It has that kind of majestic, mysterious, and “in awe” sound to it.
Any word on who the composer is?
