The master chief is suppose to have shields right? LOLLOLOLOL
It’s almost like playing SWAT
Well, a small group of people have been trying since Halo: CE to make shields irrelevant. Reducing the killtimes down to CoD levels of speed and removing the strategic and tactical elements shields can bring to a franchise.
Granted, nothing wrong with shieldless gametypes (beyond SWAT, there’s more to the game) but making it the norm is kinda taking away what many people consider to be a huge part of Halo. Who were all forced to leave because the former group mentioned won’t allow them to stay.
Master Chief does have shields…
As for the kill times, Only the BR one is extremely super fast.

The BR kill time isn’t any different from previous Halo games.

The killtimes in this game are only slightly faster than Halo 2, and that’s only for specific weapons.
Nor do they remove the point of shields. Shields are there to protect your base hp (or used to be, don’t blame the Halo CE people for removing that entire aspect).
Shields are for jumping behind cover and being ready to fight again. And that aspect has not been hampered. They are not for prolonging firefights, higher hp or weaker weapons already do that even without the inclusion of a shield mechanism.

But you didn’t have to wait 5 seconds before your shields started to charge up again, and another 2 sec to get full shields.
A game with Halo 2 kill-times and Halo: Reach shielding system isn’t a good combo my friend. One step closer to COD huh?

You do remember that the magnum killed in .6 of a second right? Which is more than twice as fast as any of the precision spawn weapons in Halo 4?
“CoD” indeed.

As a CoD player: That’s nothing like CoD. Don’t be silly now. Just because 343i didn’t think things through by not changing shielding times during the weapons update doesn’t make it even remotely similar to CoD.
I could point out all the ways it was similar, but that certainly isn’t one of them.

Yeah I know. I just used “COD” to stress my words. I’ve a luck (or bad luck) to play COD.
