Indeed. I think to make it even more simpler to prevent boosting on objectives that include chucking: how about not earn any credits or EXP for chucking the ball to other players at all?
It may function in the same way that repairing a tank does in BF3, XP is earned up to a cap in each game. The amount earned is also relatively low. Sadly I think there’ll always be ways to boost.
It won’t work the points are so little and throwing the ball will should stop the time causing ur team to be gaining no points and if the points for winning is a large amount there would be no point. Unless you have a party of eight but with a party of eight there’s many more ways to boost.

More concerning is that, since you auto-pickup the ball, you can throw it at enemies and make them catch it and become defenseless. Big oversight, IMO.
It would, but the trade off is that they do not gain points for the scoreboard while it is in the air. Not to mention you r team is not the only team on the field and are more likely to be catching plasma grenades if your focus is practicing Grifball passing.
It could be weird, nit if a team is dominating the other team, they deserve a few seconds of playing catch.

Depends on the distance. If they’re close and they got thrusters, you just gave them an instant kill weapon.
Far away, and you might have just costed the game or they could dodge it.

It looks that way in the video because there wasn’t 10 other people trying to kill them.
> More concerning is that, since you auto-pickup the ball, you can throw it at enemies and make them catch it and become defenseless. Big oversight, IMO.
Oh my god… I did not think of that. That’s amazing! I can see a lot of funny kills coming out of that.
Also, it may be hard with the enemy team trying to kill you… But what if you go in a boosting lobby? The ole language change trick o.0

That… will actually be fun: throw the ball, let enemy catch it, stand at a distance and BR the #$%# out of them, pick up ball, REPEAT.
