Anybody else feel like in Reach females LOOKED like females, but in H4 they just look like a regular spartan with their armour goofed up?
Aside from them being a smaller frame I feel that Reach had a more defining female model?
I know that they might not want to be defined as a female, but then just use a male spartan?
The girls I know that play H4 dislike how they can’t use a spartan that looks feminine, and I don’t think the female Reach spartan was sexist or derogatory at all.

My wife doesn’t like the new look either. “Not enough to be considered feminine in order to separate the outline between a normal or scrawny male Spartan.” Her words exactly.
Dude, go look at -Yoink- or something if you want to gawk at the ladies. This is not what Halo is for. 
I know some girls who find it more of a perv’s choice to put huge butts on female Spartans.

Regarding the topic: I do think it’s odd that the only part of the female Spartan model that isn’t reduced in size is the helmet; it makes them look like bobbleheads.

i’m sorry haha, i’ve always wanted to say that, but there was never a good thread to post it on. until this one came =D
but with all “seriousness”, i think in order to make female spartans more feminine, they might have to make them similar to japanese manga style. that’s the only way to really distiguish them from male spartans. i don’t see how else it would be done. it’s already a rated m game, how else are we going to not see what’s coming.
The female Spartans look anorexic in Halo 4.

I wasn’t looking for demeaning spartans and I thought Reach had fair models that weren’t “derogatory”?
I don’t want to gawk at female spartans, they are in armour, and I’m on the internet, there’s plenty of that around WITHOUT polluting the game, I totally agree…
But, when did it become so negative to be a female that they need to be indistinguishable from males?
I know there are some imbiciles on Live that do attack women, but there are also reasonable fair players, like DEZARATH.
Plus, like I said, a female spartan isn’t compulsory if they want to remain anonymous.
I think that Anime style spartans won’t suit the game, but I think that Reach had it right, no crazy jugs, no giant backside… just give them more curves in the hips, not enough to make it “sexist” just enough to show a more feminine spartan, (but like gwoodwardiii said, not just malnourished…) and yes, smaller heads please

I play with a Female Player Model in Reach and Halo 4 for their smaller frame. Less to see less to shoot. But if you want a Feminine armor set, I have 1.

Do you really think these look better? odd, Perhaps I’m just too “used” to Reach’s spartans.
Are there any opinions that are from females, not just males, that may have an obscured opinion?
This was something that was brought up by my partner, as it doesn’t directly affect me.
No, I like the current look better; less provocative.
Their bodies were waaaaaay too “yoga” before, probably in an attempt to interest certain male players - a good attempt, not gonna lie.
Though i am glad 343i did not go with this route.

Personally, as someone who was first introduced to female spartans via the books, all spartans should be indistinguishable from one another in terms of size and armor. Granted there are armor permutations, but still. That used to be a thing. Its whatever though.
i do apologize if i offended anybody. i just wanted to bring a little immature humor to the forum. and don’t worry, that humor is gone; i’ve always wanted to say that and i did. now it’s out of my check-list XD
