The way to make D-W posisible in halo 4

If it had worked then it would be in the game.
I really want dual-wielding back, but at this point, I doubt they will add it.

Being an AA wouldn’t really make sense considering 343 probably wants to put AA’s in to canon. Why would a spartan need an AA to hold two guns?
I think it should be a custom games option. Maybe available in some classic play lists. If we don’t have SMG’s I’m sure a spartan can hold two AR’s and so on.
same as sprint in reach, why that should have being an armor ability if every spartan can run? if thats the case, i think 343i is just very naive. whatever, people want dual wield let them, but take away AA spot that could have being used for cloak

What’s the obsession with dual wielding?,I don’t get it. It will not be in Halo 4 Josh Holmes has said it added nothing to the sandbox they are trying to create, so let it go please. Truthfully it added nothing to Halo 2 or 3 as well except for people running around like jack—es, it was never a worthwhile feature.

Actually, I kinda like that idea.
But I suppose it would be a pretty cheap armour ability.

Why? It was introduced in Halo 2 and, obviously, there exists a good amount of dual-wielding fans, including me, that want it to make a return for Halo 4. Now, it’s probably highly unlikely 343i will cave in, but it’s good putting up a noble fight.
I know I was also a big fan of Halo 2 Duel wielding the needlers and in halo 3 duel wielding the SMG’S.
“343i pls read!!!” Having this as a title will likely mean 343 won’t read it. The amount the threads i see with that. Also i don’t dual-wielding should be added, i found in Halo 3 that it certain players over-powered. If you were playing Narrows and you graabed two smg you could go on a rampage. There was also the noob combo giving yourself a pistol/smg/plasma rifle and plasma pistol would give you a kill within seconds. In Reach no dual-wield worked well it meant people living and games would last longer.
lol… they say history repeats every 20 years or so, but i dont think they ever visited these forums. It seems to repeat about every 3 days…
Anyways, While i loved dual welding. dual smgs just sounded really good on my sound system, its not really a viable feature. The big thing is for the guns that are dual weild capable, they have to nerf them so much that they are almost useless single handily. Best example of this is the human pistol (magnum) and plasma pistol. Play halo 1 and halo reach and see how powerful they are. Then play halo 2/3, notice how weak they are individually?
Duel wielding I do not care for, I shall admit it. However you need to understand that 343i have not implemented duel wielding due to complications with balance and weapon redundancy. They didn’t want “half weapons” lying around and complicating the purity of Halo matchmaking. I’m sorry man, it’s not changing for Halo 4. It’s concrete. Now, if you wish to argue in favour for duel wielding for Halo 5 (when those forums come up) be my guest. Otherwise I have to tell you, you’re gonna have to face the facts.

If this is how people are going to be then why do we have a forum? We should just have an update board where 343 posts stuff and we see it, no suggestions, protests, or questions.
