So last week I pre-ordered the Console edition from best buy seeing as amazon doesn’t like to ship to Canada (or at least I wan’t able to for some odd reason. I’m kind of nervous about it because it was done through credit card and nothing was charged on it Best Buy stated that it will be charged upon pick up of the console.
One question I have is do you think I could possibly loose my console pre order if I don’t pick it up on launch day? I know it is a stupid question but I never really pre ordered something of this magnitude and would like some clarification on the whole ordeal.
I’m not pre ordering the h4 console solely for the FOTUS armor set( i actually need the new console.
Another question I have for the community.
Is it possible to redeem the FOTUS armor code and then license transfer it to my old Xbox so my brother can ride the unicorn megatron of death into battle? I guess I’m also asking: How do license transfers work?
I need clarity in my insane mind to put this to rest. If anyone in the community can answer at least one of my questions that would be great.
The only way you’ll lose it is if they sell out, and you haven’t picked it up for a matter of days (weeks?), which is not going to happen. Gamestop guarantees (if I remember) 3 days in stock before they sell it. It should be printed on your receipt, but I really don’t think it’s something you should worry about. My local Target still has a Gears of War 3 system sitting on the shelf. Go figure. It might just be my area of the states, but I’ve never seen anything like a console bundle sell out before Christmas time.
Hey, I’m planning to pre-order from Best Buy as well and drive four hours to pick it up. So when you payed for it with credit card, they didn’t make you pay yet? I’ve been curious to whether or not there is a down payment or if there would be if I payed at the store directly.
The way pre-orders work from my past experiences is that the cards are not charged until the order is getting ready to ship. So you just have to make sure the card works around that time lest you run into complications with your order. This is probably my biggest concern personally.
As for your license transfer thing, I’m not sure what loophole you’re trying to go through but I’ve never been able to redeem content more than once. If there’s some sort of trick to transfer redeemed content to another xbox, then I wouldn’t know of it.

Yeah I have resolved the issue. when you pre order from best buy they don’t charge the credit immediately ( as 3 legged goat stated)
As for the loop hole lol… not really a loop hole. I just wanted to find a way to share my FOTUS with my little brother on the old console. I have come to a remedy for that situation.
All problems and questions were answered. A wealth of knowledge was gained this night. thanks for all the input everyone.

From my experience if your little brothers account is on the same Xbox as yours (yours being the one that initially activates the code) he’ll be able to use the armour on that Xbox. But if you transfer his gamertag to a different Xbox, he’ll lose the Fotus. I had this with the Legendary Flames in Reach. If you have come to a remedy for this… What ever you do, I’d think about the consequences, before doing it. I mean a brand new Xbox and that.

My remedy is what you stated above. Activating it on the old console and not moving my bros profile from that xbox.
I am a terms of agreement and law abiding citizen LOL.
