I prefer the BR. But it depends on what map I am playing. If I am playing on a long range map, I will use the DMR. If it is Close Combat, BR.

Reportedly the BR has the recoil and small spread that does cause shots to be missed, the DMR shoots faster and has bloom that resets much faster than reach and rarely causes shots to miss.

I prefer the BR though the DMR is equally as deadly in the right hands.
I am pretty sure people use their favorites, like any other game

I don’t know yet. Besdies, assuming that the weapons are going to be 5sk until the release date is unlikely. As far as we know, that could change next week since the game is still in an early build, and they are constantly balancing weapons and features out. And I dont know if this is true or not, but some people have mentioned that the “bloom” one sees in a dmr is actually the visual representation of your fire rate (like the sniper) when the ret completely resets, you can fire agan with the dmr.

lol i will be useing the Br in halo 4 as well…I AM WITH YOU MY BROTHER WE WILL RULE ALL!!!
Bullet for bullet the reach dmr is better than any previous br (5 bullets compared to 12 to kill)… 
But without playing it doesn’t seem possible to really make a choice between the h4 rifles. Three round burst would seem to be more forgiving in close quarters though.

Nothing has been confirmed yet by 343. Could’ve easily been a special gametype they were playing or they modified the weapon damages just for that play session. For all we know it could be 5sk TO THE BODY, not 5sk to the head.

Yea for bullet for bullet but over all the H3 Br got the HR DMR beat on power
